Introducing: Dr. Pui Sai Lau

A heartfelt congratulations goes out to Pui Sai Lau who defended her PhD thesis on Monday. Pui Sai, a doctoral student co-supervised by the Coombes and Li labs, made significant contributions to the design, construction and workings of RNA-based structure-switching aptamers for biosensor development. Her work has been published in a number of articles, including the prestigious Angewandte Chemie International Edition (Impact Factor, 13.7). Pui Sai has been recruited to Pro-Lab Diagnostics to continue her work on biosensor development.
