Karl Freeman Prize for David Mulder

Congratulations to PhD student David Mulder for winning the 2012 Karl Freeman Award. Established in 2001 from a generous donation from previous Department Chair, Dr. Karl Freeman (centre), the Freeman Award is given to the student deemed to have given the best overall department seminar in the graduate seminar series. With 125 graduate students in our program, this is a highly prestigious award. David joins two other Coombes lab members (Sarah Reid and Sarah Allison), who won the award in 2011.
